7-eleven Run 1500

February 1, 2015 will always have  a special place in my heart.

Just in time for the start of the love month, one of the sweetest things in my life happened. That, I will forever treasure!

Oops, it’s not what you think. I’m not talking about love life here. Hmmn, it’s more important than that.

I’m talking about my love for running. My passion.

It was then when I finally got introduced to the Skyway.

Journeying 6 hours and 19 minutes of my life in that long and historic road was one of the best … [Click HERE to continue reading...]

February 10, 2015 by March Nacino Leave a Comment

In a world where people have different sports inclinations, it’s nice to be with individuals who share the same interest as you do.

February 8, 2015 marked another momentous event for runners.

It’s not one of those big running events, but it surely was geared towards a noble goal. It aims to help give Jeremiah 33:6-7 foundation victims get their first step in finding a brighter future away from violence and abuse.

Miles for Jeremiah, a run for love, hope and joy, was a run organized by Pinoy Aspiring Runners as they marked their 2nd anniversary .

I Ran for a Hero. I Conquered the Skyway: My First Full Marathon (42K) Experience!

February 2, 2015 by March Nacino 10 Comments

It was a calming Saturday night when we arrived at the venue. The moon seemed to be cooperating as it revealed its full face. The sky was showing a blanket of stars.

The “Hero” motiff was apparent as we approached the Condura Village in Filinvest City Alabang.

Another memorable event was about to begin. It was the 2015 Condura Skyway Marathon.

The Condura Skyway Marathon is an annual running event that is definitely considered as one of the much awaited runs of the year.

The Road to my First Ever Full Marathon

January 25, 2015 by March Nacino 4 Comments

The road to my first full marathon

Just for the record, my first ever run, which was a 16K, was my very first achievement when it comes to running.

It felt so right to finally get back on track.

For a while, I forgot about this passion. I’m glad that it got resurrected when I joined my very first run.

I started getting comfortable telling my friends about it. We started talking about our experiences.

That’s when I learned a lot about marathons.

You see, being a newbie, I never knew that different marathons are being organised every year.

That got me excited! I was really … [Click HERE to continue reading...]

How I Made Running as One of My Passions

January 7, 2015 by March Nacino 2 Comments

Running is my passion

I’ve been going to the gym for 2 years now.

Lifting those weights felt so good especially that I got to see my muscles growing. I’m starting to achieve the shape that I’ve always wanted.

Until one day, it brought me to a realization that I haven’t been doing much of the cardio workout.

Don’t get me wrong.

While weight training is a good form of  exercise to stay healthy and in a good shape, it’s also important that cardio workouts are being done.

I usually allot cardio workout an hour after doing my usual gym routine. It seemed though, … [Click HERE to continue reading...]
