After all, I committed to become part of this historic Earth Day Run 2015.

It was in March 15 of this year when I last joined a running event, my 2nd marathon, so to speak. It’s always a joy to be able to do your passion and breaking your personal record at the same time.

I thought I prepared well enough. I had all the trainings needed.

Nat Geo Run 2015 was a different story.

I Ran for a Hero. I Conquered the Skyway: My First Full Marathon (42K) Experience!

It was a calming Saturday night when we arrived at the venue. The moon seemed to be cooperating as it revealed its full face. The sky was showing a blanket of stars.

The “Hero” motiff was apparent as we approached the Condura Village in Filinvest City Alabang.

Another memorable event was about to begin. It was the 2015 Condura Skyway Marathon.

The Condura Skyway Marathon is an annual running event that is definitely considered as one of the much awaited runs of the year.
